Astra 3003 - Power Rated 3

Manufactured in the UK the Astra 3000 series incorporates three door controls of varying power with adjustable closing speed and latching action.

Performance/Testing

The Astra 3003 is tested and proved suitable for use on a ½ hour and 1 hour fire door. Test conducted in accordance with EN1634-1 by Chiltern International Fire Ltd, test report CHILT/RF06118. Continuous in-house testing up to 500,000 cycles. Suitable for use in accordance with building regulations 2000 approved document B for fire safety and approved document M for access to and use of buildings.

Features

Non-handed, suitable for use on either right or left hand doors. Available in brass, chrome or satin chrome finish, square or radius plates. 10 year guarantee.

Fixing

The Astra Door Closer should be fitted to the door with a pair and a half of ball bearing hinges and a good quality latching mechanism. Performance of the product may be affected if not fitted correctly. Complete door kits are available.
