The Original Gibraltar Surface Mounted Spring Door Closer
The Original Gibraltar Spring Door Closer incorporates two torsion springs in the body which is easily adjustable enabling a variable closing force.
Suitable for use on ½ hour and 1 hour fire doors.
The Gibraltar door closer is sold outside the UK under the trade name Gibcloser
Performance/Testing
Tested and proved suitable for use on a ½ hour and 1 hour fire door. Test conducted in accordance with EN1634-1 by Chiltern International Fire Ltd, test report CHILT/RF06118.
Continuous in-house testing up to 500,000 cycles.
Suitable for use on a 68kg/150lb fire door.
Listed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. in the US and investigated to Canadian National Standard CAN/ULC 5133 – M90 and bears the mark.
Features
Fixing
The Gibraltar door closer should be fitted to the door with a pair and a half of ball bearing hinges and a good quality latching mechanism.
Performance of the product may be affected if not fitted correctly. Simple 4 screw face fixing.
